Advocacy for your family member or self can take place in many different context to include formal and informal. Advocacy is essential to communicate the needs for education, support, job training, housing, and more.

Join Autism Society NWPA and add your voice to the growing number of families and professionals helping those with autism. Your annual membership fee of $25.00 will help us to operate our programs throughout the year. You can help!
$25 Family Household Membership (memberships are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase).
As a part of your annual membership you will enjoy free or discounted family sensory and social opportunities as well as invitations to special member only events. The benefits of attending begin with the sharing between one parent to another. Often times, just talking to someone who has “been there” can really help. The monthly outings are designed to develop: community awareness and interaction through structured community based experiences; and develop and maintain recreation and leisure skills. The outings are opened to all families living with an autism spectrum disorder.

Erie Gives 2018
We are pleased to share the Erie Gives Day was a huge success. Autism Society NWPA received $4,317.44 from 66 donors through the one day of giving. Your donation will enable us to continue supporting individuals and families in our local community through: family sensory and social outings, Auto Racers for Kids LEGO Social Club, Friends & Pals Teen Club and Autism Society NWPA Scholarship Fund. The funds raised are also used to provide local grants, host conferences and educational seminars, and provide information about autism through presentations and printed material.

We welcome the community’s willingness to help promote autism awareness and funding for our mission.
