Are you concerned about where individuals with IDD and/or Autism will live in the future, what supports will be available, and how our community can create more meaningful housing opportunities?
You are not alone in thinking about these important questions — and your voice matters.
EACH — Erie Advocacy Collaborative for Housing is working to understand better the housing needs, concerns, experiences, and opportunities affecting individuals with IDD and Autism throughout our community.
We invite individuals with IDD and Autism, parents, grandparents, siblings, relatives, caregivers, advocates, professionals, service providers, housing experts, community leaders, and others with knowledge or interest in this area to complete our brief questionnaire.
Your input will help EACH:
- Identify current and future housing needs
- Better understand the challenges individuals and families are facing
- Learn from professionals and community members with relevant experience and expertise
- Explore creative and meaningful housing possibilities
- Build connections among individuals, families, advocates, professionals, and community partners
- Strengthen advocacy for additional housing options and supports
Whether you bring lived experience, professional expertise, community knowledge, or simply a desire to help create better housing opportunities, we want to hear from you.
You will also have the opportunity to express interest in joining EACH and becoming part of this growing collaborative.
Please take a few minutes to complete the questionnaire and add your voice, experience, and expertise to this important conversation.
Because EACH individual deserves the opportunity for a safe, supported, and self-directed home life.
